Traverse City and Northern Michigan are known for the many vineyards they’re home to. One vineyard we’ve visited up there is Hawthorn Vineyards, and it is absolutely beautiful and the perfect place for some wine tasting.
Riverside Canoes is a great place to rent tubes, kayaks, or canoes to float down the gorgeous Platte River. The river is beautifully clear water and spits out on the Lake Michigan lakeshore where you can enjoy some time on the beach once you drop off your tubes.
